Welcome to Mrs. Whitesell's Home Page. I would like to welcome all of you to my home page for second grade. I will use this page to list homework schedules, special schedules, upcoming events and many other important memos throughout the year. I will use this page to share with you the exciting things that have happened in our class during the week and to give you ideas on things to practice at home with your child.
If any parent intends to be a classroom volunteer I need for you to fill out an affidavit. Please send a note with your child and I will send the affidavit home with them. It must be signed and notarized before you can help out in the class.
We will begin our Pre-test on Study Island sometime within the first month of school. After that, I will be asking students to use it at home as an extra tool for learning. Then, each week or so, I will test the students on the specific skills we have learned in class using Study Island. Be sure to sneak a peak and find out their scores.
